As a funeral celebrant I cover all aspects of ceremonies from the funerals themselves to ashes scattering/burial ceremonies, memorial ceremonies and much more. Feel free to contact me should you have any enquiries in relation to any of my services offered.

Once appointed as your chosen celebrant, I will contact you and your family to arrange a convenient place, time and date to meet with you. The majority of families like to meet in the loved one's home where they feel surrounded by their spirit, or the home of another close relative. This meeting will usually last up to 2 hours and during this time we will discuss your wishes and requirements for your loved one's special goodbye. We will cover music, poems, readings, prayers and hymns and any special requests you may have.

There is nothing I love more than to listen to your stories about your loved one to gauge their character, the things you loved most about them, the laughs and lasting memories that are at the forefront of your mind and heart. This enables me to create a long lasting, personalised and touching tribute specifically for your loved one. We may discuss such things as their early life and childhood, their favourite pass times, any particular achievements they made, favourite music etc. Please feel free to advise me of any special requirements or requests you have. This is YOUR ceremony for YOUR loved one and it is MY job to ensure you receive nothing short of perfection!

Once I have met with you I will create a draft service for you, which I will forward - usually via email - within plenty of time before the funeral. This then enables you to read fully through the draft should there be any amendments you wish to make or anything you would like to add. Things may come to your mind after we meet that you would like to add to the service. Should this be the case, I am always on hand to help and assist you.

Once you are happy I will then create a final draft - a presentation copy of this will be given to you personally following the service. Two presentation copies are given free of charge, however should you require any additional copies, you can request these from myself directly. Please note, additional copies are charged at £8.50 each.

On the day of farewell I like to arrive at the venue in good time to allow for any last minute checks that need to be made, such as verifying that the music is correct and everything is in place as it should be.

With a passion to help you and your family through this sad and difficult time, I strive for perfection and whilst I may not be able to guarantee the Great British weather, I will do my upmost to ensure that perfection is what you receive.

Upon conclusion of the service, my services do not stop there and I am on hand to help with any aftercare questions you may have. You may receive an email within a few weeks of the ceremony asking for your feedback. These testimonials feed the fire in my belly and help me to continue providing an A-class service to other families.
