About Me
A very warm welcome and thank you for visiting Forever Always.

My name is Samantha and I am a trained and fully qualified civil celebrant, trained by and a member of the Fellowship of Professional Celebrants. I am also a trained bereavement counsellor and chose to become a celebrant so that I could offer help to families at a time when they need it the most.

Having experienced loss from both ends of the scale, both as a parent and a child, helping bereaved families has always been my passion. After losing my Mother and my young son I decided to train as a bereavement counsellor and somehow turn my negatives to a positive.

Following on from my training, I went on to become a Trustee Director for a local charity specialising in helping families in need before entering in to the world of funerals.

After a 25 minute conversation with the manager of the funeral home that cared for my son in 2011, I was offered a job interview as a funeral arranger. Just 3 weeks later, I started my new job and instantly I was hooked! My passion grew further and the job satisfaction I received was second to none.

Becoming a celebrant was not something I had considered until I was urged to do it by a female celebrant we used at the funeral home. To start with I didn't take her compliments seriously. That was until I had to help a young family who had lost their baby son. I could instantly feel their pain having been in a similar situation, and when I was asked to conduct the service, I saw it as a privilege and so my journey in to celebrancy began.

With my eldest daughter having special needs and her health deteriorating, I finally made the decision to vacate my role as a full time funeral arranger and train as a celebrant so that I could stay within a profession I am thoroughly passionate about whilst also still providing for my family and being home more to care for my daughter, and I have never looked back.

My services offer a personal and professional touch, and I am on hand whenever needed to meet and speak with you to discuss your requirements.
I do not charge for my services when conducting a child's funeral (aged 16 years and under). Instead I ask that a small donation is made to the wonderful work of the Doctors and Nurses at Birmingham Children's Hospital. The support I was offered by them was wonderful at a time when I needed it most, and to be able to offer support to them in my line of work is both an honour and a privilege. Having also recently suffered the loss of someone very close to me via suicide, I also support C.A.L.M (Campaign Against Living Miserably) and a percentage of my fee following a death of this nature, is automatically donated to this amazing charity who work to help young men battle against their demons. Please see my Donate page for further information.

I also conduct naming ceremonies, weddings, vow renewals and civil partnerships. Please select the tabs above details.
