A naming ceremony is a wonderful way to celebrate the birth of a new baby or to welcome an adopted child or step-children into your family and wider community. Many families choose to hold a naming ceremony to celebrate their child’s arrival.

Naming ceremonies can be arranged by any parent or guardian, and there is no age limit so older children can be included in the same ceremony.

The ceremony has no legal standing but it is an opportunity for a public gesture of love and support for your child.

​

I will ensure that your ceremony is a special event and will tailor your ceremony to suit your child’s age and your family situation/requirements.  Certificates are presented to the parents and guideparents along with a personalised candle and a presentation copy of your child's service for you to cherish forever.

 

I also provide an "I Love You Because" book where all attendees can write messages of love to your child on their special day.  This makes a lovely keepsake for both you and your child.

Naming ceremonies can be held wherever you wish, whether this be a registered premises or your own home.  Please note that there is an additional surcharge for registered premises.
